Kickstarter Game Projects & Work Of Internet Marketing Companies

By Robbie Sutter

Kickstarter video game projects have been able to come to the surface rather recently. Amongst the many examples I could name, "Mighty No. 9" seems to be the most impacting, especially given just how much trust there seems to be in the names associated with the project. How has trust been able to become built over the course of time, you may wonder? Are these companies going to be able to benefit from the best efforts that Internet marketing companies can bring forth?

One of the reasons that a project like "Mighty No. 9" did so well in the eyes of the general public was because of how much it was able to harken to a franchise that hasn't been utilized in a big way recently. This project is headed by Keiji Inafune, who is the original creator of the "Mega Man" franchise. It goes to show in this new project, especially in the way that it appears. If it is considered to be a successor, it would be very easy for fans to believe it.

Capcom has been criticized for a number of things, such as the neglecting of the Mega Man franchise at the expense of the fans. Even though they have demanded a new game time and time again, it did not seem like the company had any interest in bringing such a product to the masses. I think it speaks volumes about Capcom's faltering success when it cannot take into account the demands of fans. Ignoring one's user base is a problem in the eyes of those within Internet marketing companies.

If you want to make the most out of your Kickstarter project, advertising efforts should be seen at a high level. Demos can be brought into effect, especially if you want potential fans to be able to gain an idea of what your final project can prove itself to be. If it's a matter of advertising your project to a tremendous number of people, I feel as though Internet marketing companies should be brought to the forefront. All you have to do is look at authorities such as fishbat to see the potential they can have for awareness of your project.

As it stands, Kickstarter projects have been hit or miss in terms of the material that they offer. However, those that have been the most substantial were those that have been able to not only reach their initial goals but the stretch goals set in place afterwards. Sometimes all it takes is a reputable name in the gaming industry, which was the case for Inafune. As you can imagine, the impact of the gaming masses can prove to be one of the most immense you can imagine.
