The term lobbyist is used to call a person who attempts to convince elected legislators of officials to vote a specific way. Various lobbyist jobs are offered by organizations as well as groups. Lobbying is definitely more than just persuading legislators. Professionals need to educate corporate officers and government officials on important issues, attend congressional hearing, research and analyze legislation or regulatory proposals.
