Why Rural Communities Fight Commercial Development

By Hedrick Lepsch

If you have ever lived in a small town, then you know what it is like to have to drive an hour or so to the nearest convenient store, large open land, and very tight-knit communities. When you take a closer look at things even when there is economic development in a community like this, there is a lot of opposition to commercial development and here is why.

In doing so, they find themselves fleeing for their lives when a particularly nasty one turns and chases them to a nearby shed. There they find a water pipe anchored at least thirty feet in the ground. Dr. Jo and Bill quickly tie themselves to the pole and await the inevitable. The tornado strikes just moments later, tearing the shed to shreds.

Nothing would make Governor Herbert happier than to have tourism increase at rate where a general contractor must work overtime to build facilities to house and entertain visitors to the state. With the increase of tourists, specifically in the greater Salt Lake City area, there will be an increase of jobs available to Utah residents.

While many of Utah's top tourist sites are centered on Mother Nature's creations, these attractions enable other manmade facilities to serve tourists. Some of these facilities include hotels, restaurants, outdoor equipment outfitters, and retail shops. Whether you are visiting the greater Salt Lake City area or the entire state, there's something for you to visit. Take a look at some of the best sites to see in Utah.

It's a sign of a change in the times. Construction management crews and techniques have developed so much over the past hundred to two hundred years that they know how to make something to withstand the intense power of one of Mother Nature's most destructive weapons.

Making sure that there is a steady and well planned commercial development in a town is crucial for economic stability and in order to maintain the peace of people. The last thing that a small town should do is scare the members of the community with a disruptive environment.

Just south of the point of the mountain, visitors and residents alike can enjoy the Thanksgiving Point farm, garden, and museum. Thanksgiving Point is dedicated to provide learning opportunities for families to learn about the natural world. Thanksgiving Point is expanding their already large campus with a new museum. The project's general contractor and his crew are hard at work to bring even more opportunities to families as soon as possible.

When commercial projects are suggested in city council meetings, these investors will be coming out of the wood works. One place that might be considered an anomaly is Williston, North Dakota where many general contractors find commercial construction projects relatively easy to pass through city councils. This has a lot to do with the revenue it brings to the city.

Protect your head with an object or your arms and wait for it to pass. You may cock your head to the side and seriously doubt the effectiveness of this plan. "Where's the pipe?" you might ask. Well, sometimes you just don't have that option. Most of the time you'll only have a few minutes to respond before the tornado reaches your area. This is a proven plan of action that could save your life.
