Use social media marketing to direct people to your website. Social media is limited compared to what a website can offer. While sticking with blogs with bigger followings is more likely to generate more traffic for you, visitors from smaller blogs can add up as well.

Keep in mind that you need to be active in your social media marketing efforts. In order to succeed, you must socialize! If you're not active and engaging, you won't have an audience. Contrarily, marketing campaigns that have constant activity will be propelled to success because people won't stop talking about them.

Content sharing is easier on Facebook than anywhere. Comments will appear on that person's news feed so all of their friends see it. Encourage the readers of you page to talk between each other and with you on the posts you make to gain more exposure.

You can add applications such as SlideShare to LinkedIn. Try different applications and see which ones could be helpful to you. SlideShare allows you to create photo albums with detailed descriptions for each pictures. You could add pictures of your products or have your customers send you pictures of themselves using what they bought from you.

Make sure you post new pictures regularly on Facebook or Twitter. Your friends and followers probably have a lot of content appear in their feeds, and they will be more likely to notice a picture rather than a text. You could very easily create different photo galleries for your products.

Keep checking on what your competition is doing. Find their social media pages and see what they do to get and keep customers interested. You can either do something similar to what your competitors are doing, or develop an entirely new strategy.
