Don't Text And Drive

Even though the dangers of texting are constantly growing, many people still believe that texting while driving is a completely harmless act or at least believe that they personally can handle it. This type of perception is prevalent and can lead to dangerous behavior on behalf of many drivers. Not only can the drivers and passengers of the perpetrating car be hurt, but texting and driving is extremely dangerous for other cars on the road, cyclists, and pedestrians.

Texting is a distracting behavior that is dangerous to everyone on the road, and it needs to receive more attention and to be taken more seriously.

If you were injured while on a sports team, support from your coach, teammates, and others can go a long way in helping you overcome the depression that may result in not being able to play. At times during your recovery, you may be tempted to withdraw from others as a result of your injury because you feel inadequate and depressed.

However, during these times, this is definitely not what you should do. You will need the support as you work in rehab to overcome your injury. It is very important that you try your best while in rehab so that you can return to normal life as quickly as possible. Depending on your injury it could still take quite a while for you to become strong enough to return to normal life. In other cases, you may not be able to return to a completely normal life. However, you will be able to create a new normal life for yourself that you will enjoy tremendously.

And if you are riding in a car where the driver is texting and driving, ask them to stop, or ask if you can make the text for them.
