By Jason Stewart

A magnet school is a free community school that can be extremely good and highly selective. They are known for their high standards and special programs. They specialize in specific areas like science or art. Students who apply may require undergoing a series of tests before admission. The article discusses what tears elementary school magnets apart from all other schools.

One of the most prestigious school is the private schools. They do not get any monetary funding from the government. They mainly depend on religious organizations, grants, endowments and charitable donations. Most private schools prefer to have students of one gender and as at that, are made into boarding schools.

Independent schools are those run by a board of trustees. They do not receive money from the government or any king of religious groups. They, however, are funded by charitable organizations, endowment, and the money from tuition payment. They may have a connection to religious groups but do not allow funding or govern ship by any kind of religious group.

Provincial schools. These are possesed by churches. Most of them happen to be Catholic diocese. Some are owned by Protestant denominations. Hebrew schools can also be categorized as parochial. The curriculum is a little different as they have daily religious instruction and prayer. Your child does not have to be affiliated with any of the religious in order to be allowed to join.

The registered schools are the newest ones there are. They do not have a board of trustees and do not answer to any elected individuals. Their tuition fee is comparable to that of private non-profit schools. They have only come to exist recently, and so not much is known about them. They are possessed by an institution by the name national independent private schools association.

The ones that are best known and where most children attend are the public schools. Their teachers are paid and provided by the government. They are funded by the local, state and federal institution. They are obligated to admit every student within the boundaries of their district. No training fee is charged as the government covers everything.

The others are the charter school which is also kind of a public school. No fee is required to be provided by the students. They were formed by teachers, parents and community organizations back in the 1990s. They are funded by the government, and they can also receive money raised privately by the organizing community. There is no school board, and they are therefore free of government scrutiny.

Another common one is the home schooling programs. Some home schooled children to attend normal school part-time. Families can come with their own curriculum or buy material that has been specially made for home schooling. Most parents home school their children or get a tutor because they are unhappy with the public school environment or technique.
