Mark Twain mentioned the manual method in which mail was carried back in the day. Since then, mail has become a very important part of our lives. As a kid, I waited for hours on end to receive the most minute of items in the mail.

Much has changes over the last decade. We use computers to do much of what we did in the mail. There is still a fair share of reliance on snail mail though at present.Mail carriers yet play a vital role in the 21st century.

One of the benefits is that it requires little education.For those in that category, it means you can get a good paying job even if you didnt graduate. The pay is sufficient in some countries. They get many perks such as social security benefits, savings and life insurance among others. They also have the benefit of free exercise if they choose to walk to deliver mail. That includes the fresh air free. They expand their social circumstances they are always meeting new people on their rounds. They quickly become experienced as their work involves a specific routine. They are not confined to a boring 9 to 5 job. Veteran postal officers can receive a lesser score on their postal service examination with no implications.
