You need to write a maximum of 250 words. They are more than enough if you are good in writing the descriptions. You have to look at the text from the context of the reader. If you would not be prompted to make further inquiries after reading the description were you the client then you have to rewrite the text. You should not be discriminative. Do not include words which target a particular group of individuals only. Even a single word which can be interpreted as discriminative can cost you the deal.
